My name is Bradley, and I have always had a deep fascination and respect for wood as a crafting material. I come from a family that has worked with wood in many forms across multiple generations so one could almost say that it is in my blood to a degree haha. Personally I have worked with metal and wood in many ways, doing everything from fine jewelry and silversmithing to framing and construction, to fine art pieces in both wood or metal. I settled on woodturning as where I want to focus as it blends the art, skill, and utility of a useable item all into one craft. I am very much still learning every day in this craft and gaining a deeper understanding constantly with every piece I complete. My dream for the future is to eventually blend my silversmithing and goldsmithing experience into the woodworking world to make functional pieces of art via wire engraving, or other embellishments. Using the fine metals to accentuate the natural beauty of the wood.
